Getting started on a website development, custom programming, graphic design, or social media project may look intimidating. But it doesn't have to be. The most important part and often the hardest part... is actually getting started.
The first step will be to talk with Derek at WideNet. Maybe you have a concept in mind of what you'd like to accomplish or maybe you just simply know 'you need to do something' but don't know exactly what that 'something' is yet. Either way is fine- we'll advise you on the best way to get to the best end result. Generally that means starting with a conversation to understand what you plan to accomplish. From there we can give you a quote and a plan of action. Once you're ready to move forward, we'll do a thorough interview- simply asking you a series of questions. Your answers to those questions will give us the information we need to put together a proof or detailed plan. And at that point, everything gets even easier for you.
As an example, when it comes to our website development projects we start with the initial conversation, then move onto the interview, then Derek will organize your project for you and pass it along to Tonya who will start a detailed proofing process with you. She will go back and forth with you on the proof until you feel that the look and feel as well as the organization and user friendliness is exactly what you want- we'll keep at it as long as it takes to make you happy with the proof. Once you approve the version of the proof that you love, we'll turn it into a real website, create and integrate all the programming we've determined it needs, and integrate our WideNet Control Panel. At that point the site is ready for the content. We'll train you on our super-easy-to-use control panel, which lets someone who does not have to be technically savvy have the ability to change content within minutes using an interface very similar to Microsoft Word. At that point, you can enter your content or we can help you. And whenever you say 'go', we'll take the new site 'live.' From that point forward, we're all with you for customer support, trainings or re-trainings if needed, analytics support, and other support services.
